He has conducted dozens of projects including, in particular, internal investigations in connection with corruption, fraud, asset diversion, abuse of power and acting to the detriment of companies.
Michał acts as a defense counsel in the most notorious criminal trials in Poland that arouse great interest among the public, including the largest proceedings involving corruption (the value of the obtained financial benefits exceeds PLN 50 million), money laundering (the value of the funds derived from crime exceeds PLN 9 billion) and VAT fraud (the amount of public receivables exceeds PLN 5 billion).

Aleksandra gained her previous experience working in reputable law firms, both Polish and international, in Krakow and Warsaw.
She specializes in conducting cases involving criminal law, including commercial criminal law. She supports clients at all stages of criminal proceedings, participating in detention, hearings, hearings and trials before courts of first and second instance, as well as representing clients at the stage of enforcement proceedings.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and LLM program (specialization: American law) at the Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC. During her legal studies she was also a scholarship holder of ERASMUS+ program, thanks to which she had a chance to study law at the University of Vienna.
Currently Aleksandra is an attorney trainee at the District Bar Council in Warsaw.

Aleksandra focuses on substantive and procedural criminal law. She represents clients at all stages of criminal proceedings, including actions relating to detention and pre-trial detention, as well as during court proceedings. Her areas of interest include, in particular, the issues of economic crime and penal fiscal law.
Before joining Octo Legal, she gained experience in reputable Polish and international law firms in Warsaw, practicing in the field of criminal law and civil law.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. During her studies she was actively involved in the activities of the Students' Self-Government of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and she provided pro bono legal advice in the field of criminal law as part of the Legal Clinic at the University of Warsaw. Within the Erasmus+ program she had a six-month internship at Vrije Universitet in Amsterdam.
She is a co-author of monograph on the crime of so-called VAT carousels, published by Wolters Kluwer.
From January 2020 she is a trainee attorney at law in the Warsaw Chamber.
